Robinson Place

A private residential flat at Robinson Place, in Central & Western on Hong Kong Island. White moulded panelling on the walls with concealed ceiling lighting runs throughout, giving the flat a Western modern luxe character; a geometric openwork globe pendant is the main light in the dining room, and diamond-quilted upholstery runs to the ceiling in the main bedroom.

Moulded cabinetry and marble floor in the living room

Moulded cabinets sit on a marble floor, with a pendant hung at the centre of the living room; the television is recessed flush into the wall, so a classical look still keeps a clean elevation.

A spherical pendant hangs above the dining table, black chairs set against a white room for clear contrast; white stone runs across the whole floor and reflects the light back.

Gold globe pendant

The gold globe pendant is built from faceted panels with the bulb hung at the centre; light passes through the open gaps and falls on the ceiling as small points of light.

Full-height storage runs down both sides of the corridor, with moulded door panels; concealed ceiling lighting follows the edge, giving the passage some depth.

White cabinetry carries a stone worktop with the appliances built in; a single-run layout with an island lets two people prepare food without getting in each other's way.

A diamond-quilted upholstered headboard runs the width of the wall, soft to the touch; a long counter is kept at the side of the bed, serving as dressing table and shelf in one.

Wardrobe with upholstered sliding doors

The wardrobe uses diamond-quilted upholstery for its sliding doors, with champagne gold trim dividing each panel into six; a dark brown frame holds the whole unit together, so it reads as a wall when closed.
